The original news

Geekenstein’s May 7, 2014 announcement reported that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company had revealed Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. The article anticipated a worldwide release in November 2014. It identified the games as a return to Ruby and Sapphire, which had appeared on Game Boy Advance in 2003. Neil Scanlon is the explicit written credit in the recovered body, even though the surrounding contributor widget uses a generic label.

What this short announcement established

The item pointed readers to a brief teaser and press-release announcement. It did not offer a hands-on review, a detailed account of mechanics or an exact November release day. This edition preserves that narrow news intent instead of filling the route with a new review. The announcement’s forward-looking language belongs to May 2014; it is not presented as an upcoming release today.
